We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
Hello,
Can you please tell me if it's possible and how to create Responsive Tables.
In the documentation i found only one article:
https://wpdatatables.com/documentation/table-features/responsiveness/
Unfortunately hiding columns is not responsiveness that i can use.
Is there a way to make the table rows or columns stack on mobile view-ports? (without hiding them)?
Thank you.
Hi New,
We only have a different responsive design available for our Simple Table type.
For them, it is a more "classic looking" stacking of the rows on top of each other.
You can check out our Simple Tables on this documentation,
they have some unique features, and you can check out their Responsive design;
but on the other hand, they have certain limitations when compared to other table types,
such as no filtering/search etc. ( more details on that on the Docs as well);
-
But for other types of dataTables, we only have that Responsiveness feature from the documentation you saw.
At this time, we do not have a different way to customize/change that,
but you can make a development suggestion for us.
Please feel free to search on our suggestions page,
to see if someone may be already suggested this feature. If you can't see it, feel free to add your suggestion there, and as more people vote, the feature will move higher on the priority list.
You can certainly follow our changeLog page if you'd like ( it is also available in the plugin dashboard), where we state any changes/new features/bug fixes during updates;
and our newsletter, so you're informed about new features, bug fixes, freebies, etc.
-
If you have coding skills, you can only try to add custom CSS, but this level of customization is not what our support can cover.
Kind Regards,
Miloš Jovanović
