We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
I want to embed a table on the website that will be linked to a Google sheet. I want to use this with the Master Details addon. So that I can only have the search box on the page. I don't want to show list of all the entries in the table. I just want to show the search box so users can search and then show the search result as an entry from the table.
So is it possible to hide all the entries of the table and only show the search box when using wpDataTables and the Master Details addon?
Hi, Kevin.
1. The Master-Details add-on is used mainly to hide some columns from the initial Table view,
and you can set up which columns are revealed in the "more details" section,
whether if it will be in a Pop Up, Post or Template page with placeholders,
but this add-on is not used for hiding the table before filtering.
2. We do have a solution for what you described, though.
You can do this with our other premium add-on Powerful Filters.
This add-on has a feature "Hide Table before filtering", which will allow you to set one or more filters in a Form,
and when the user inputs their search, then the table will load with the results.
Please check more about this here.
Before purchase, you can test this Add-on features on our sandbox site.
Let me know if that helps.
Kind Regards,
Miloš Jovanović
