Hi, Each time I update Amelia, the above booking page doesn't show up. And till now every time I reach out to my hosting provider for help - which they sometimes able to help and sometimes not.
Today. the support from WPX hosting shared a critical issue with Amelia PLugin, which I will share with you in their same words:
QUOTE
There seems to be an issue with the plugin related to a specific file.
In the error log, I've noticed that there's a message related to the plugin - missing permission for file ".htaccess" in this directory - /domains/innermystics.com/public_html/wp-content/plugins/ameliabooking/ - even though the permission are set correctly.
On top of that, this file was missing. Therefore, I've created the file and re-saved the permalink structure of the site which basically refreshes the structure of the site.
This can be done on your end as well by using our file manager and this setting here - https://prnt.sc/vCHz_FmGj4Ll
If you are able to provide feedback to the plugin, you can send them the following error message - [ERROR] [31563] [T0] [HTAccess] Failed to open [/home/sushants1/domains/innermystics.com/public_html/wp-content/plugins/ameliabooking/.htaccess]: Permission denied
They might resolve this in a future update. Even though it says the permission is denied, the permissions on our end are set correctly - since the issue was resolved after creating this .htaccess file, it seems the plugin didn't create the file itself.
END QUOTE
Can you please look into this and resolve this, as in the last 6 months of me using Amelia, I have spent at least 5+ hours so far contacting WPX Hosting to correct this. It makes it extremely difficult to trust Amelia's stability. As my business heavily relies on appointment booking.
