I want to offer language training, where the students pick and rearrange their lesson ours on their own with the help of your tool. The checkout will happen by an integrated Woocommerce.
For language tuition it is common that the customer buys a package of e.g. 10 or 20 lessons in advance. They than would pick their timeslots, where of course the amout of slots needs to be defined by the package booked.
My questions now are:
1. To realize this I would need an upgrade to pro licence and set up packages for different amounts of lessons?
2. Would it be possible for a customer to by several packages in one step for a longterm training (e.g. 5x a package of 20 lessons). How will this scenario be realized on the customer panel? Can the customer just book the next sessions as needed?
3. Would the following scenario be possible to be realized with Amelia? A company has one or more employees that need to learn a language in individual tiutions. The HR dep buys some packages of hours, but the booking of the acutal sessions is done by the employees. - As far as I can see this cannot be set up with the features currently beeing. I propably would need to arrange this deal with the compagny personally and set up the accounts in Amelia manually. Is this right? Any extentions/renewals would need to be done manually, too. Right?
1. Yes, you will have to upgrade the license to pro or developer in order to have the package feature available.
2. At the moment, you will not be able to add multiple Amelia products to WooCommerce.
The integration works this way, and it doesn't accept more than one product if an Amelia product is present. There's a possible workaround, though.
Please note that this hasn't been thoroughly tested, but a few of our customers have confirmed that it works as expected.
Please access this script: ../wp-content/plugins/ameliabooking/src/Infrastructure/WP/Integrations/WooCommerce/WooCommerceService.php and comment line 604, in the "addToCart" method:
$wooCommerceCart->remove_cart_item($wc_key);
This should allow you to add more than one appointment to the cart.
3. At the moment, only the admin or manager user can book appointments from the package for the customer. Besides customers of course.
Please let me know if you have any other questions.
