I am currently using your highly valued Amelia Booking Plugin and it has significantly streamlined our business operations. Your plugin has proven to be an efficient tool in scheduling appointments and reservations which saves us a lot of time and effort.
However, I've noticed that there seems to be no current feature to handle Value-Added Tax (VAT) within the plugin. As we are required to comply with tax regulations in our operations, it is vital for us to have a system that can adequately manage and process VAT within our booking transactions.
Understanding that you might be considering or even already planning to add such a feature, I am reaching out to ask if you have an estimated timeline for the development of a VAT system for the Amelia Booking Plugin.
Knowing when we can expect this feature would greatly assist us in planning our future business strategies and ensuring our continuous compliance with tax regulations. If there is a beta testing opportunity for this feature, we would also be more than happy to participate and provide user feedback.
Thank you in advance for your attention to this matter. We look forward to your response and the continuous improvements in your service.
We do not have a tax feature yet but we plan to implement it soon. By the end of the year but it is quite possible that is will be in the next few months.
Until this is implemented you can just write the price with tax included and insert (Tax incl.) On behalf of the service.
If you have any more questions please feel to open another ticket.
We are facing a challenge with our B2B clients as they need to see net prices, while payments processed via Stripe need to include VAT. The current solution does not fully meet this requirement.
While we await the tax feature implementation, do you have a suggested workaround for our current situation?
What you want is possible to do with WooCommerce products for different services. By default, all services are connected to one WooCommerce product, but if you create multiple products you will be able to choose a product that will be connected to each service.
Once you enable WooCommerce as a payment method, go to the Services page, open one of the services and you will see a Settings tab. When you choose this tab you will see the option “Select WooCommerce product” where you can choose a product that will be connected to this service.
This way, you will be able to set different taxes and other WooCommerce options for each product and each service in Amelia.
Hope this helps.
If you have any more questions please open a new separate ticket for each question and we will gladly help you there.
If you have some question or issue feel free to open your own ticket so that we do not want to disturb Gianni with our correspondence. Since Gianni will get the mail each time for each reply. We should implement tax feature in the next couple of months as we mentioned, but how exactly will it work we can not say. We would need to wait and see.

Tax feature implementation is a must... and needs to be customizable by name and amount, also dual taxes (GST, PST) for some items.
