When following the process to book an appointment - in the form view the "employee" field always comes up as an option....
I do not want this. I want customers to just choose there location (we only allocate one employee p/location anyway , so I do not want customers getting confused) pick a product and pick a place - done
That is why I am writing to you....I have done this on ALL the forms just in case and STILL the field shows. Please see my pictures attached and feel free to test it yourself on www.solido2.co.za/booknow
This does not apply only to the package booking form. When a package is booked you can not hide the employee choice at this time. Unfortunately, currently, this feature is not built-in in Amelia.
Features are pushed up on our "to-do" list when there are a lot of customers requesting those features, so having your vote as a customer can be beneficial to this feature being developed sooner.
If you have any more questions please open a new separate ticket for each question and we will gladly help you there.
What you are saying does not make sense when you actually HAVE a check box for a package to NOT display this option. I just went through ALL my packs and realized there is this setting (please see attached) that literally says in the "?" icon that if unchecked, that the booking will determine the employee and not the customer. why is this checkbox there if it does nothing?
It doesn't make sense since you have this feature button....apart from that....i stumbled around as a newbie only to figure out that it can be done. Please see attached....with the right settings you can get it to NOT display the employee on packs AND services.
However, it is not a mandatory field no matter if you find the buttons to make it mandatory. Please confirm as I believe this is more of a bug than a feature to be added.
Is as you can see for the customer panel. So your customer can not choose different employees in the customer panel.
This will not hide the employee's choice on the booking form.
These are the option that we have in that section for packages
And there is no option to hide the employee's choice there.
You can apply the custom CSS to that page and hide it in that way
We can send you the code
.am-fs__pas-filter > div {
display: none !important;
}
Custom code needs to be applied to the page where the booking form is. Depending on what you're using (Gutenberg blocks, or some page builder), adding the CSS or JS can be done in a few different ways.
If you need help with adding custom CSS to the page, please take a look at this article.
If you need help with adding custom JS to the page, please take a look at this article.
This should help you to achieve what you need.
If you have any more questions please open a new separate ticket for each question and we will gladly help you there.
Thank you so much for this information and I seriously appreciate the code as well. Do you have the code for us to add an extra tab field that we can safely add our own information too? - please see the attachment.
Unfortunately, currently, this feature is not built-in in Amelia. This is not easy as sending you a custom CSS this will require serous coding and our developers do not accept personal customization at this time. There is a possibility that we wil start with this in the future so if you want we can contact when and if we start offering this option.

I'll kindly ask you to add it as a feature suggestion on this link https://features.wpamelia.com/
