Hi, I need to know if it is possible to set amelia to create bimonthly or quarterly packages, let me explain better:
Basically, most customers subscribe to a monthly plan, so I've set in the settings that the maximum number of days they can see as "bookable" on the calendar is 30 starting from the day the package is purchased. However, I would need to create some packages that include 2 or 3 months and, even if I set the duration of 2 or 3 months in the package, whoever buys this package always sees as "bookable" only the first 30 days from the date of purchase of the package as from global settings.
Is it possible to ensure that those who buy a 2-month package see 60 days as bookable and those who buy the 3-month package see 90?
Thank you for purchasing our product, and for reaching out to us.
If you already have our licenses, please write to us in the Amelia category.
The reason we ask you to do this is that there has been a lot of abuse.
Because if the license has expired and the subscription has not been renewed, these users do not have access to our support, the same applies to licenses that are purchased through Envato.
Licenses purchased through Envato have access to our support for only 6 months when that time period has to elapse they have to contract Envato to extend the time for support.
We hope you understand.
Unfortunately, currently, this feature is not built-in in Amelia. It works like this.
The duration you set is for the package while the appointments within a package are defined by the "Period available for booking" in Amelia's General Settings or individual settings of a service. So, if you sell a package with 10 appointments, and set the duration of the package to be 1 year, your customers will have 1 year to book those 10 appointments.
However, the appointments within a package can be booked as far ahead as you configured the "Period available for booking in advance" in Amelia's General Settings, or individual service setting. For example, if this is set to 30 days, at the time when an appointment is being booked, the customers will be able to choose the dates 30 days from TODAY. Defining the duration of the package doesn't define the availability of appointments.
If you have any more questions please open a new separate ticket for each question in Amelia category and we will gladly help you there.
Yes, I understand, I don't have a license now, so I'm asking a few questions before buying.
Since it is not possible to set a different advance booking period for each package, is there a way to schedule a package in advance for a client?
For example: "Activate Package A for customer X on August 1st and September 1st"?
In short, I would like customers who pay for a month to be able to book only for the 30 days following the purchase and customers who pay for 2 months to be able to book for the 60 days following the purchase. Is there a way to do this with amelia?
We have explained how this works so this scenario is not possible unless you book for them in advance. As you asked you can book appointments form a package for a customer in advanced and they will get notified about those appointments and in this way you can achieve what you need.
