Unfortunately I can't use Amelia to its full potential. I wrote you about this a while ago and I have still not found a workaround.

I'm in the coaching business. While most customers book their first appointment through the booking form on my website, I book the following appointments directly in the backend of Amelia.

I need be flexible in the timing of the appointments. Sometimes we start at 5 or 10 past the hour because of the train schedule. Also, we might start at 8:00 or 8:30. 

If the appointment duration is set for an hour, Amelia let me select only slots starting at the hour.  This is very weired. Why can't I define the starting time myself?

In addition I also must be able to overrule the general settings such as "Default Time Slot Step", "Use service duration for bookting a time slot" and "Include service butter time in time slot".

Maybe I'm missing something, but I tried various ways to find a workaround such as additional employees and locations. Unfortunately these did not help either. 

I'm really looking for alternatives to Amelia now, as this bothers me a lot. But I really like Amelia and would find it a pitty to leave. Therefore I hope, that you can help me with finding a workaround or a quick fix.

Please don't suggest to turn off the general settings. This did not work in practice. It's way too complicated and sometimes I even forget to turn it on again, with the result that customers block my schedule by selecting a slot in the middle of the morning.

As said, I need the general setting as they are. I need "Use service duration for booking a time slot" enabled for the booking form in the frontend.

If I would disable it and also in addition set "Default time slot step" to 5 minutes as you propose, this would allow customer to schedule the appointment at e.g 9.05. This is a no go. It's only fine if agreed in the session, and if I rsp the employee book it. The clients should not be able to do this.

Please re-read my request blow. Do you understand my need? 

Is there a way to apply different settings for the booking form in the frontend than in the backend? Easiest would be, if the administrator/manager or employee can overrule all settings. And why is there a dropdown to selet the time? Why not just allow setting the time accordingsly in the backend? Any more ideas how to solve my problem?
