    Hi,

Just want to make sure if this product has everything in it to suits us.

Our client does a yearly conference where tickets are sold to Audience and Presenters through a wordpress website.
There are two-three types of tickets for general audience but 2 types of tickets for presenters.
Audience/Presentor can check the event calender, select any event and buy the tickets, print them and download the qr code. Exisiting members & Early Bird gets a discount.

Moreover, we need a functionality so that once someone has purchased their ticket (for example, a two-day event, Early Bird Member ticket), they will be able to log in to manage their account. Once the conference schedule has been released, that person should be able to log in and select which sessions on their two days (for example) they would like to attend. We need to be able to see who has bought tickets, how many days they will be attending, and which sessions they have booked in for. We also need to be able to set the capacity limit for each session.

Is it something, we can achieve using this product?

    Thank you

    Hello Amit,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

You can set different prices by using the Custom Price option where you can set up different prices for different categories. They can be named as you want.

Once you have added pricing categories for your event, your customers will be able to choose which ticket they want to purchase both on the Event List and Calendar booking form.

The customers will be able the access and view the scheduled events, and cancel them if necessary using the Customer panel.

Aso, it is available for the Employees to access and view the attendees for each event

The only option that is not available as you described is the QR code generation. We have a plan to implement it in the future, but there is no ETA on when it will be implemented.

Please let me know if you have any other questions.

    Kind Regards,

    Thank you Uroš

Regarding customer account on conference website.

Lets say, a user has bought an early bird tickets, but he is not sure of the timings now (Or it could be a case when my client is not sure about the timings, so the timings are hidden on the events page initially). So, customers can buy early bird tickets without selecting the timings (or customers can create their account and book the ticket later on) and visit the client's website back and select the timings, when timings are visible on the website.

Is it something which can be done with Amelia Event Plugin?

    Thank you in advance.

    Hello Amit,

Thank you for reaching back out to us.

Unfortunately, there is currently no such option with Amelia's built-in features. You can suggest that feature on the following link: https://features.wpamelia.com/

We carefully follow suggestions from our customers and the more vote the feature gets, the more priority we put on implementing that feature in one of the future updates.

    Thanks Uroš,

Does it support braintreepayments.com/au, payment gateway?

Also, how flexible is the plugin for custom code? Is it easy to integrate with the plugin?

    Thanks again.

    Hello Amit,

Amelia does not support braintreepayments method at the moment.

Are you referring to adding custom code from your side?

    Looking forward to your reply.

    Thanks Marko.

It looks like, we will be moving ahead with Amelia plugin.

We got to know that Amelia supports Braintree Payments through WooCommerce, which is good.

We have only one issue left now:

We organise daily events. Each day has 3-4 sessions. User can buy a ticket for a Day 1 or Day 2, etc. Once paid, s/he can select the sessions.

How can I implement this using Amelia?

Till now, I have created an event using Events (https://www.dsfconference.com.au/test/). This step is working fine, but now I want that user can log into their account and select the sessions. How can I do that? I have created an appointment booking form, but I want that it should ask for the login details of the user first and then user can book the appointment. Is it possible?

Each session will have speaker associated with it, so may be I can create staff in place of speakers?

    Pleae help or urgent basis.

    Thanks & Regards,

    Amit

    Hello Amit,

    1. We organise daily events. Each day has 3-4 sessions. User can buy a ticket for a Day 1 or Day 2, etc. Once paid, s/he can select the sessions.

How can I implement this using Amelia? - Our events function differently let us explain. So if you you set that your event last 2 days, when a customer buys a ticket he buys it for both days. If you want to sell tickets for each day separately you will need to create 2 separate events.

    2. I have created an appointment booking form, but I want that it should ask for the login details of the user first and then user can book the appointment. Is it possible? - Unfortunately, currently, this feature is not built-in in Amelia. Amelia doesn't have a membership feature where they will need to log in so that they can book an appointment. Each customer that goes to your site can see the booking form and they can book an appointment. And on the booking form they can enter their data at the end of the booking process. This is how booking forms are designed.

    3. Each session will have speaker associated with it, so may be I can create staff in place of speakers - Services can not function without employees. Since you need staff you can rename label for employees to speakers in customize section.

    Hope this helps.

Should you have any further inquiries, we kindly request that you open separate tickets for each question in Amelia category since you have access to it now and we will gladly help you there.

We wish you all the best.

    Have a nice day.

Thanks for the reply Marko. I have few more doubts.

    >> So, we can create seperate events as Day1, Day2, Day3 and so on. But how will the user select the sessions. The payment is on the basis of days. Example, user can pay for Day1, which has 3 sessions. Later on then select Session1 and Session3, as he wants to attend only these two sessions. Is it possible?

    2. Unfortunately, currently, this feature is not built-in in Amelia. Amelia doesn't have a membership feature where they will need to log in so that they can book an appointment. Each customer that goes to your site can see the booking form and they can book an appointment. And on the booking form they can enter their data at the end of the booking process. This is how booking forms are designed.

    >> Since, the user have booked the Day1 in step 1. Their account is created by Amelia. We can create a seperate log in page, where user can log in, using their credentials, then the user will be redirected to booking form. I think this workaround can be implemented?

The only problem I see is, can user select multiple sessions?

    Please help.

    Thank you so much.

Is it possible? - In general no this is not possible, when a customer buys a ticket for event he can access all session for that event because he buy a ticket for complete event.

You can try and create custom ticket and sell 3 type of tickets session 1 session 2 session3, etc.

    2. Unfortunately, currently, this feature is not built-in in Amelia. Amelia doesn't have a membership feature where they will need to log in so that they can book an appointment. I think this workaround can be implemented? - Yes, this sounds that it can work in that way.

    3. The only problem I see is, can user select multiple sessions? - if you set it like this that each ticket is a different session they can purchase several ticket for several session in one go. But booking several events in one go is not possible at this time but we are working on implementing a cart feature in the near future possibly in the ext few months.

Since you have bought a full license we have to kindly ask you to write to us in Amelia category and to open a separate ticket for each question that you may have because this is a pre purchase category for Amelia for informational purpose. Hope you understand and that our workaround above helps.

We wish you all the best.
