You are correct, at this time Time columns in wpDataTables, we have two issues :

• Seconds are not yet supported.
• Global search doesn’t support search by time.

I recall there were a couple of users before who asked to add the seconds to Time Columns,

but I searched through our "suggestions" from users, and for some reason, it seems they did not add their request there ( yet ).

I certainly passed this to our developers, and we have a plan to add it,

I just can't say an exact ETA.

If you wish to affect the development speed from your end,

if you can be so kind, please feel free to search on our suggestions page, 

 to see if someone may be already suggested this feature. If you can't see it, feel free to add your suggestion there,  and as more people vote, the feature will move higher on the priority list.
