Say, service #1 is a service where I visit clients at home, and service #2 is a service where I do online consulting through Zoom.
So:
1 employee 2 services 2 locations
How do I link the online/Zoom location to only service #2? And not have clients choose location #1 when they try to book service #2?
The locations are bound to the type of service, not the employee. So I want to link that accordingly.
How do I achieve this?
I want both services to be able to be booked from 9:00 to 17:00. So linking the service + location to separate opening hours makes no sense. There is no option to set both for the same opening hours.
Thanks! The problem is though, Amelia doesn't accept the same email adress for another employee. It's not really convenient to create separate email adresses for each service.
I'm setting this up for a client and I want all Amelia emails to be mailed to her one email account. How to solve this?
Another problem I encounter with this approach (creating an employee for each service + then using resources to have the actual person unavailable) is that the buffer time for the actual person doesn't work anymore. Because of course that's linked to one employee., which in my case are now separate services.
It's such a shame Amelia is centered around employees and not around services. This makes it seemingly impossible to set it up right :(
I think it can be easily solved if we can assign a location to a service instead of an employee.
1. Unfortunately, currently, this feature is not built-in in Amelia.
But for the employees' emails, if you use Google or Outlook for emails there is a workaround. You can put the same email just place +number before @ and you will be able to save employees but all emails will go to the same email address. For example [email protected], [email protected], [email protected] etc, will be different while saving and you will be able to save all employees but all emails will go to [email protected] address.
2. Buffer times are set per service not per employee. As for locations this is how Amelia is designed and this will not be altered since this will require changing the complete logic of how Amelia works and how it was designed. If you do not have employee on a certain location then you can not provide service on that location and this was designed with that in mind.

Hello Simone,
Thank you for reaching out to us.
Serrvice work hours days and locations where those services are provided depend on employee work hour settings.
So if you work on 2 services a t the same time on 2 locations both of these locations will show.
So to achieve what you want you need to create 2 employees and to assign each employee to a separate service.
If you have any more questions please open a new separate ticket for each question and we will gladly help you there.
We wish you all the best.
Have a nice day.
Kind Regards,
