We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!

We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.

You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.

While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.

We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.

    Hi Support!

    We have two kinds of events:

    - events paid by the attendees

    - events paid by their health insurance


    For the latter I do not enter a price and so the list shows, that these events are for free.

    But this is not correct. Instead of free (german: "Gratis") I would like to say, that it is paid by their insurance. How would I do this with amelia?

    Another question:

    Is there a way to change functionality update safe, so that it still works after an update?

    all-clear - I was able to help myself ...

    I customized the po-File and generated a new mo-File.

    Will this be safe when I intall future updates?

    Hello Gerhard,

    Thank you for reaching out to us.

    Unfortunately, the changes will be overwritten with the new Amelia update.

    Words can be changed using POEDIT or Loco Translate for example very easily. I suggest you install Loco Translate and then translate these strings.

    If you want to use POEDIT then this is an instruction:

    1. Download the Amelia plugin from CodeCanyon and save the .zip file on your computer.

    2. Unzip the downloaded .zip file.

    3. You need to download and install POEDIT. 

    4. After that open the program and open the file from the extracted folder on your computer ameliabooking/languages/fr_FR/wpamelia-fr_FR.po.

    5. Translate all the strings that are not translated

    6. Save the translation.

    7. Go to ameliabooking/languages/fr_FR/ folder and copy these two files called wpamelia-fr_FR.po and wpamelia-fr_FR.mo back to your website in the location ../wp-content/plugins/ameliabooking/languages/fr_FR/.

    This is an example of the French language, but you will choose yours.
