I purchased Amelia to use it as a booking system for a fitness business but I'm having some difficulties managing to set up what I need.
I basically want to set up 10 week program packages, where clients pay for the package and they can book their sessions only on a certain period o 10 weeks. These sessions have a specific time every day of the week and they repeat weekly, as follows:
I'll run different programs through the year and I want to be able to set them up in advance. These are the dates I'd have them for the rest of 2023:
August 14th to October 22nd October 23rd to January 7th
Can I set up the validity of every package to a certain period of time? And can I set up exact times for each weekly session so that it starts at 7:30 and not just at 7 or 8, etc? I tried to do this with the recurring events but I couldn't set up the event to start at 7:30. Also, can you create a package that works with events instead of appointments?
I hope this makes sense to you and that you can help me as I'm struggling a bit and I couldn't find much information online related to my case.
For this purpose, I would advise that you set up the multi-day event.
You can create an event that spans between Monday and Friday, or that includes multiple dates (November 23rd, then November 25th, then December 12th, then January 2nd, and so on). Think of this as a course that either offers different content on every date, or it continues from the last date. For example, a multi-day event that happens on November 22nd, November 29th, December 6th, December 13th, and December 20th is a 5-class CSS course. On November 22nd, you'd learn basics, on November 29th, you'd move to another stage, on December 6th - to another stage, and finally, on December 20th, you'd complete the course.
A customer would book this event to register for the CSS course, and they would automatically be assigned to all 5 dates within this one event.
Since you want to set this up from 7:30, you would need to set the "Default Time Slot Step" option on the Amelia/Settings/General page to 30 minutes and this will work fine from your end.
Please let me know if you have any other questions.
Thanks a lot for your response! That's great, I've set up the event with all the different dates but I'm coming across more questions if you don't mind.
First, is there any way to hide the individual dates of the events? At the moment I'm getting a big list underneath the event title with all of them as you can see in the screenshot attached.
Also, is there any way to allow, let's say, 20 people to purchase the events package and then limit each individual event for 6 people only? It is a program where many people can sign up and then they get allowed to attend 2 sessions per week which they would book after initial purchase. Does that make sense?
Lastly, is there any way to test the booking process myself without making any payments?
Would there be a way to work with the appointments feature and set up the dates as I mentioned integrating Amelia with Woocommerce? Do you think that could work?

Hi Uroš,
I just came across another problem I hope you can help me with.
I'm adding the step by step booking form to my elementor page but it's not loading at all on the frontend. I have this problem with several of the shortcodes. I've checked other tickets on the community (https://tmsplugins.ticksy.com//ticket/3132227/), tried the things mentioned there but I haven't found a solution yet.
Thanks a lot for your reply and help. I think I'll try to go the individual sessions route as I really need the clients to have the ability to book the times they prefer.

Hello Santiago,
Thank you for the update on this and for your patience.
For the purpose of hiding the dates of the event you can use the following CSS:
When the customer books a single date for the multi-day event, all of the dates will be booked.
For that purpose, if you are using some online payment method, you can switch it to test mode to test payments.
The thing is that with the appointments, the customers will be able to choose their own time slots instead of choosing from the predefined slots.
Hope this helps you.
Please let me know if you have any other questions.
