We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
Hi
I am using Woocommerce for accepting payments for Amelia bookings. In it, I also allow customers to log in or register during Checkout. I am the User Role Editor plugin enabled and with it I have assigned the Amelia Customer status to all Woocommerce customers.
But when the user logs in with the email used for making the booking, they re not able to see the Customer Panel. They still see the
Send Access Link screen.
How do I enable Woocommerce in Amelia and have the users see the panel directly?
Hi Sandeepa
I'm not part of Amelia Support team, but I had the same issue (Woocommerce / Amelia registration).
The solution is:
1. Go to Woocommerce/Settings/Accounts and Privacy. Only select the option "Allow clients to create their accounts on Checkout" and also "Allow clients to log in on Checkout" (I think you have activated these two options).
2. Go to Amelia/Settings/Clients. Make sure to select "Create an Amelia Customer automatically".
Once these options are activated, you'll get the clients to register to Woocommerce/WordPress and to Amelia at the same time (you can even redirect them to the Amelia Panel if you want).
EXTRA: I don't know if you're using a membership plugin, but in my case, I also needed to link the clients to a membership plan, so in order to do so I had to configure Woocommerce to automatically set the new payments as "Completed" so Virtual Products could change their type of plan (e.g. from Trial to Paid. You can achieve this by using a plugin called Order Status Control for WooCommerce by Bright Plugins.
Hope this helps.
Regards,

Hello Yamil
Thank you for the reply and also for letting me know about this Woocommerce plugin for Order Status Control.
The way I have handled this right now is by forcing Login before the booking screen is shown. I am using the Visibility Logic for Elementor plugin to implement this. I also have an Actions Pack plugin which sets the role to Amelia Customer when the user Registers through this page.
Hi Sandeepa,
I'm looking for a similar solution to my issue. Basically, I'm getting users to register their accounts through WP Forms, where they can be assigned as a WP Amelia Customer. However, if the user then tries to login (before they've booked an appointment), they get a message saying they have an incorrect password.
Am I right in thinking that by forcing a login through your plugins, they can see the front end customer panel without having to login to it?
Also, what is the 'Actions Pack' plugin you mention?
Hello Nick
It's a Plugin that I have used for Register and Login to easily redirect users with different roles to their respective panels/pages (Employees to Employee Panel, and Clients to Customer Panel, admin to dashboard etc). My employees are registered through the backend, so anyone who registers using the Register form is assigned the user role of Amelia Customer.
And I enforce a Login/Register before they see the Amelia booking form (I am just using a Visibility plugin with Elementor for this). That way, they aren't asked for the password to view the customer panel.
I hope this makes sense
