The buffer time values depend on the Default Time Slot step which is configured in the General Settings of Amelia.
The buffer time you want to set needs to be dividable by that default time slot step, so if you want to create services that have the buffer time for 30 minutes, 60 minutes, and 1.5 hours, you would need to set the default time slot step to 30 minutes (because all 3 durations are dividable by it).
Hope this helps you.
Please let me know if you have any other questions.
This has worked but I am now having issues with email service. I am using the SMTP settings supplied by my web host and am getting an "email not sent" message.
To ensure that it is not a problem with the email settings from my web host I have used them in order to add the email address to my phone. This has worked perfectly well so I don't understand why the Amelia plugin won't accept them?
An issue with email notifications could be caused by several reasons:
Your hosting provider is blocking all 3rd party settings and only allowing their SMTP (or other) settings.
Your website has a PHP version of less than 7.
The credentials are not correct.
There's something else blocking the notifications from being sent.
If you're using Gmail, please check out this article for detailed setup instructions.
Please check these points, and let me know if you were able to resolve the issue. If you're still not able to resolve the issue, we'll need to remote into your website, and see what's going on.
How can I change the buffer time after each slot? Currently the minimum is 30 minutes, but I need it to be 15 minutes.
