In your help document on this page you have the following text, quote:
"For Stripe, you can only set both MetaData and description for the payment."
Can you explain what you mean by "only set both"?
Second question: I only see the description showing up with the payments in Stripe Dashboard, none of the MetaData is visible. Do I need to use special tags in the MetaData name fields - see screenshot - or what is wrong here?
Dear Uroš, such a screenshot would be irrelevant to the question. What I was asking for was an explanation of an un-logical sentence in Amelia documentation which I can't understand. I essence I am asking what the words "only set both" refers to - so I am asking - can you?
This is the sentence we are talking about:"For Stripe, you can only set both MetaData and description for the payment."
The link to the page where its from is in the first message of this ticket.
As far I understand, the sentence would be logical if it said "For Stripe, you can set both MetaData and description for the payment." - Just omit the word "only"! But it could also mean you can only set them together. However, that does not seem to be the case, so the documentation is wrong and confusing. It is also confusing when the knee jerk reaction from support is to ask for a screenshot or login details when it's not needed. Such things make me very reluctant to hand out credentials to you. Sorry If I am lecturing you, but kid, you are in the business of building trust and you need to start building it in a more serious way.

Actually the metadata does follow through to Stripe, just not where I expected it to be.
Hello Bjorn,
Thank you for reaching out to us.
Can you also please provide me with the screenshot of this data on Stripe and I will assist you with this?
Looking forward to your reply.
Kind Regards,

Hello Bjorn,
Thank you for bringing this to our attention.
We have gone on and changed it in the documentation, now it says:
For Stripe, you can set both MetaData and description for the payment.
My apologies for the misunderstanding in my previous reply.
Please let me know if you have any other questions.
Kind Regards,
Uros Jovanovic
