We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
Hi,
I've followed the videos published by your company in order to add employees to our new Amelia system. No matter how I try the Amelia dashboard doesn't show me the WP user list in order to link them both.
I used the role manager and set the Amelia Employee to the user (the role is showing under the user roles), I activated the option in the Role Settings, everything that was mentioned in the videos (2 of them) was done and still it doesn't show me the WP users under the link field within the user management section.
Thanks,
Erica

Hello Erica,
Thank you for reaching out to us.
Please note that it is not recommended to mix users and roles, so please do not assign any additional user roles to Administrator accounts. Also, we do not recommend adding multiple user roles of Amelia to a single user (Admin and Amelia Employee, for example). Roles have their own capabilities and if you combine them, the plugin will run into a conflict it can't resolve (a paradox, so to speak).
Kind Regards,
Uros Jovanovic

Hi Uros,
I do understand this paradox and so I have made few changes for the conflict to be avoided, please find attached image would you be so kind to have a look and tell me if this configuration is Ok for the conflict to be avoided in the future. I did manage to assign the WP user to the Amelia employee after making these changes.
Thanks,
Erica

Hello Erica,
Thank you for reaching back out to us.
For the "Harry" user, you should either have administrator role or the Amelia Manager, pick one and remove the other one.
Hope this helps you.
Please let me know if you have any other questions.
Kind Regards,

Hi Uros,
What is the point of the Amelia Manager role? Is it mandatory, or does the generic Administrator role is enough to manage the Amelia side of things?
I did remove that role from the 'harry' user.
Regards,
Erica
Hello Erica,
The Amelia manager role has basically all of the permissions os fhte admin user except for the ability to delete stuff from WordPress or Amelia.
Hope this helps you.
Please let me know if you have any other questions.
