I am trying to create events in this website to launch it. No events will load in the back of the website and I cannot add events either. I create the event as usual but when I hit save it does nothing. I also could not see the old events to copy the information across to the upcoming events. Your support is appreciated as this is vital for me to launch this website.

Ah that's because I did a test order in the website. Is there a "best practice" approach for running test orders that you recommend in future? 

I have another query in relation to The notification emails - is there a way to send the Amelia emails and stop the Woocommerce emails? The woocommerce ones are not as nice as Amelia for events...etc.

hello

i tried again to add an event and still cannot add events. i could not figure out how to remove Amelia Customer from my profile. So I went to Wordpress users and I bulk edit change profile to and chose administrator. Now my profile only shows administrator but I still cannot add events when logged into the website. So I deleted all the woocommerce orders. Still cannot add events. What do i do to remove Amelia Customer thing - I really hope that this feature does not exit in future as it is slowing my build time!

So I have been running tests in Woocommerce and tests are working with test cards. 

I have disabled account creation emails and order completed emails in Woocommerce because they were sending emails to customers twice. 

My issue is that I have to have SMTP on emails so that the emails send out. If I add SMTP to Amelia then my woocommerce pdf invoices don't send (this would be the receipt for booking a course which a business would need). So I use the plugin Branda to add SMTP to the website. 

1. If the SMTP is enabled in Branda and in Amelia then no emails send to staff and no emails send to the customer when I do a test booking. 
2. If I disable the SMTP in Amelia and change to WP mail then leave SMTP enabled in Branda to work site-wide the customer does not receive any emails. I have tested with three different emails. I set Amelia to send all emails to my own business email using the "Send all notifications to additional addresses:" field in settings. My busienss email recieves the nice Amelia booking email and it recieves the invoice email with the pdf attached (it goes to my spam every time). I have waited for over one hour and customer email I used on checkout still has not received any emails. 

Can you please advise if there is something that could be blocking all emails going to customers?

I am now able to add events again on my profile- I think I needed to clear server cache to update my user profile properly.

Thank you for your response:

1. Your hosting provider is blocking all 3rd party settings and only allowing their SMTP (or other) settings.
   1. OK I will liase with my host now to double check this and will report back here if they blocked anything. i have many websites with that host and none are presenting this issue with emails but I will investigate with them to rule it out.
2. Your website has a PHP version of less than 7.
   1. PHP is 8.0
3. The credentials are not correct.
   1. The emails are sending to me as the "additional address" but dont send to the customer. What credential could cause that. I will test the normal enquiry form now to ensure credentials are correct. I will report back on this.
4. There's something else blocking the notifications from being sent.
   1. I am not sure what as all that is enabled it Branda SMTP, Amelia and Woocommerce.
5. If you're using Gmail, please check out this article for detailed setup instructions.
