Am I able to assign different stripe or payment accounts to different employees? Employees are essentially contractors sharing the same space but individually accept their own clients and payments, common in barber shops and salons. Can you assist?
Unfortunately, currently, this feature is not built-in in Amelia. At this time you can only lnk one account and accept payment to that account. After that you need to redistribute money to your employee manually. There is no other way at this time.
Features are pushed up on our "to-do" list when there are a lot of customers requesting those features, so having your vote as a customer can be beneficial to this feature being developed sooner.
If you have any more questions please open a new separate ticket for each question and we will gladly help you there.
Can you please go through these steps in this Video for using Stripe?
We explained what you can do in order to test if your Stripe functionality works as it should with Amelia with the Stripe Test Mode.
We also pointed out some troubleshooting,
for example it can happen if you already switch Stripe in Amelia Payment settings to "Test Mode",
and if you leave it like that.
In Test Mode, you won't be able to perform real transactions with real cards.
Or in other words, if Amelia is left in Test Mode, and you try a real card, you will get an error.
-
Then, it can also happen if you switch from Test to Live Mode,
but if you somehow did not input the correct Live Stripe Credentials in Amelia settings.
If you already checked all of this, and still can't isolate the issue,
with your permission we can try our own Stipe Test on your site,
and then we will revert everything as it was?
Please provide me a temporary WP-admin (administrator) user for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue.
We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course, we do not provide login data to third parties.
You can write credentials here just check PRIVATE Reply so nobody can see them except us.
Hi, I am super curious about what solution you found to "be able to assign different stripe or payment accounts to different employees/contractors". We are looking into the possibility of using Stripe Connected accounts and Payment links, hoping we can get Amelias new functionality, the placeholder "%payment_link_stripe% to work However we find nowhere in Amelia interface where this placeholder can be defined. We do hope that it will be defined per Employee with one link per each service that the Employee is assigned to. We have alerted support but has of yet, not had any straight or illuminating (helpful) answers.
I missed the possibility to have Multiple accounts in Stripe. Seems similar to Stripe Connected accounts but appears to have an advantage for taxes and book keeping. Looks like a possibility!
Thanks!
Now, sharing your hopes as well as waiting for a good answer from Amelia support about the %payment_link_stripe% function!!

We are really scratching our heads on this one!

Hello Bjorn,
The solution for multiple payments I found is not with in the Amelia plugin but from the payment provider STRIPE itself, here is the link https://stripe.com/docs/account/multiple-accounts
However, I do hope Amelia can do this soon as well. Hope for the best!
Jesse
