Hi, I'm trying to figure out if there's a way for preventing new users from signing up for an appointment. The reason being the client I'm building a wordpress site for is not taking any new clients and is already full on business. They just want the automated scheduling.
So, is there a way to check the email or phone number of the user trying to sign up for an appointment, and basically "approving" them if they're on a list of approved users?
Unfortunately, currently, this feature is not built-in in Amelia.
Amelia doesn't yet have a membership feature, but it will be developed as a part of the Developer license (maybe even as part of the Pro license) in the future. But there may be a workaround you're interested in.
Any membership plugin (like MemberPress, or Ultimate Member, etc.) allows you to create pages that are inaccessible to some (for example non-logged-in users). You can also create custom logic, so a user can access this page once a month (for example), but we're not sure about that, since we don't work with Membership plugins.
If you have any more questions please open a new separate ticket for each question and we will gladly help you there.
