We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!

We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.

You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.

While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.

We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.

Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!

    hi

I am setting up Amelia for the first time and I have successfully setup categories and services for simple one to one bookings.

I would like to create a service which is for a corporate booking enquiry.  Is this possible?

So I would like the service to be part of the services catalog but it does not need a booking date/time to be chosen.  I just want an enquiry to be generated which I then take up manually via email.

    Many Thanks

    Hi, Gurpreet.

I am sorry, but i did not fully understand your use-case.

    1. In regards to setting up an Amelia Shortcode that would offer some Services shown on a WP Page,

but to not use any date for an appointment, that is not currently possible with our built-in options.

    2. I am just not sure what is the desired use-case, for the enquiry to be generated,

would the customer fill in some details that you need to be passed?

In either case, at the moment, Amelia currently does not have a solution for something like that.

It can only be used either to post some Service(s) with the Service provider's available work hours ,

and the customer has to choose a date ( there can be workarounds to 'hide the time' and show something like 'choose this day', but we don't have a solution to not choose the date),

then the Form will ask the customer to input their Name, Email, and any other Custom Fields if you need to add them,

then you can also set the default appointment status to "Pending", which can allow you to control which appointments are approved, etc.

This will generate a date and time in the system for the appointment, though, with pending status.

You can receive Emails as Admin, if you add "Send all notifications to additional addresses", and add your Admin Email in Amelia Notification Settings.

You can also make Events - then customers can not choose their date and time,

but you need to set the date / time and duration for the Event, then they pick from available Events.

If you wish to see something like this in the future,

you can make a development suggestion, but i honestly can't

realistically say if or when it will be possible.

please feel free to search through our feature suggestion page

to see if someone may be already suggested this feature. If you can't see it, feel free to add your suggestion there, and as more people vote, the feature will move higher on the priority list.

    You can certainly follow our changeLog page if you'd like, where we state any changes/new features/bug fixes during updates;

and our newsletter, so you're informed about new features, bug fixes, freebies, etc.

    Kind Regards,
