We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
Can the developers please add some apply_filters() calls in the code?
The easiest ones to add is in the functions in src/Infrastructure/WP/Translations/BackendStrings.php and src/Infrastructure/WP/Translations/FrontendStrings.php
For example, change:
to
I know that the strings can be changed via .mo/.po files. I only want to change one string "On-site" ('on_site') to "In person" or "In studio".
I would also love to be able to disable on-site payments if the user is not logged in. I might use the filter in WordPress's get_option() call to do this.
Hello Damien.
I forwarded your suggestion to our developers, but I can't promise that it will be applied.
You can change the "On-Site" in Amelia/Customize - you don't need to go through the .po files
At the moment, there's no way for the "On-Site" payment method to be disabled while a user is not logged in. Not through Amelia, that is, but you can probably manage it with a custom code.
Kind Regards,
Aleksandar Vuković

I did write some custom code and it is working for me. It's a bit of a hack because it's changing the JSON string.
Thank you for the information about customizing the booking form labels. I will definitely use this.Thank you for sharing this with everyone, Damien.
I'll forward it to our developers in case it's of use to them as well.
Kind Regards,
