We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
Hi there,
I bought Amelia today and while I set it up I realized a huge Red Flag that is essential for what I want to achieve with my website and for which I otherwise have to make use of the Widerrufsrecht -
I want to set different prices for my events (daily sessions on various topics) based on WooCommerce membership levels.
What I specifically want to achieve:
There are 3 Membership Levels:
- Guest (no specific membership level set)
- Basic member (Has an account and is subscribed to the page)
- Premium Member (pays a monthly fee)
As an example for one specific event - I want this event to be priced at
- 10€ for Guests, €5 for Basic members and €0 for Premium members
What I did so far?
- I have created different prices for the product in Amelia
- I have created a Product (Simple Product) in WooCommerce to be connected to the Amelia product with the pricing structure of 10€ for Guests, €5 for Basic members and €0 for Premium Members
- I connected this product to the Payments WooCommerce Connector in the Amelia Event
BIG QUESTION?
- How is WooCommece Memberships connected / talking to Amelia? As I do not connect the pricing tiers with each other, at least not consciously? And how can I do that?
What happens now?
- When I assign a basic membership to a user, he/she is still able to get the fre ticket
NEED :
- I need to restrict the pricing structure based on Membership Level! How can I do that? And what type of plugin could I use alternatively. I have checke dUncanny Automator, but this is first very expensive and second does not ffer what I am looking for. So please help. As said, that is a deal breaker for me.
Thanks,
Frederike
Hello Frederike.
The WooCommerce integration is only used for payments, so there's no support for WooCommece Memberships or any other WooCommerce add-on.
The only workaround would be to limit access to the booking pages using the membership plugin. For example, the "Guest" user can only access "Booking page 1", where you'd add the shortcode displaying Events that cost 10€. Then, the "Basic" user can only access "Booking page 2", where you'd add the shortcode displaying Events that cost €5, and lastly, the "Premium" member can only access "Booking page 3" where you'd add the shortcode displaying Events that are free.
This needs to be configured outside of Amelia, as the plugin doesn't have any similar functionalities.
Kind Regards,
Aleksandar Vuković
