Hello, I am having trouble making the employee panel work on the front end. what could be the issue? the widget is showing but it never finishes loading...
If that's the case, can you please provide me with the employee's login credentials, and I'll gladly take a look?
It may also be necessary for me to access your website (as an admin) to see what's going on so please provide me a temporary WP-admin (administrator) user for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue.
We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course, we do not provide login data to third parties.
You can write credentials here just check PRIVATE Reply so nobody can see them except us.
It's maybe coming from the "WPS Hide Login" plugin. Can you deactivate it temporarily and see if that works?
I also noticed that the email address of the employee is the same as that of the admin. You will need to change that since this can cause conflicts between the roles' capabilities. It's not causing this issue, but it could cause something else if it's not changed.
PS: I made the employee admin role for you to be able to login to the backend if needed, but will change it back to employee role later.
Maybe this should go on another ticket but I have some questions about roles:
- Can an employee be a customer and vice versa? I tried to create new employees that were customers first and the plugin doesn't allow me to do that, I have to delete the customer in order to create an employee with the same email.
- I'm going to launch a membership and wondering if customers/employees of Amelia can have a different role, e.g. "membership member"?
- Also wondering if I can have different prices for "membership members" and "non-membership members" when purchasing an event or a service. Can this be detected automatically? So a customer that is a membership member can book/buy a service/event for a lower price.
I can't figure out why the panel is not loading. Everything related to the email/user is OK, so I assume it's coming from something else.
Would you be able to create a copy of your live site on a staging site and then provide me with wp-admin, FTP, and database access credentials for that staging site, so I can troubleshoot without fearing that I'll break something?
Just remember to enable the PRIVATE response.
As for your additional questions:
1. An employee can book an appointment with another employee from the front-end, using their email address but the customer won't be created in Amelia, since there's only one database table for Amelia users, and a single email can't be used more than once.
2. With a plugin like "User Role Editor" you can assign multiple roles to a single user but you should never mix Administrator role with any other role, nor should you mix Amelia roles. A single user can be either "Amelia Manager", "Amelia Employee", or "Amelia Customer". Other roles can be added without issues.
3. When you use membership plugins, you're able to configure a page that won't be accessible to non-membership members based on their user role. It can't be detected automatically by Amelia, but you can have different services for members and non-members, and simply use a filtered shortcode for the members page (regular users don't have access to) and others.
When providing me with the staging site, please remember to enable the PRIVATE response.
I can't figure out what's causing this. Can you also send me FTP access credentials and database access credentials (phpMyAdmin) so our developers can troubleshoot the issue?
Just remember to post a PRIVATE response, as you did previously
Yes, accessing your hosting provider's cPanel should suffice, just remember to post a PRIVATE response, so the credentials and the URL are visible only to me.
Hey, I had this issue as well! Try checking your roles settings. Make sure for the employee section you have "Enable Employee Panel" turned on. It will prompt you to input the URL where you have placed your employee panel. Save it and it should work after that!

Hello Julia.
The login screen seems to be loading for me:
Is the issue happening when you try logging in?
If that's the case, can you please provide me with the employee's login credentials, and I'll gladly take a look?

Hello Aleksandar, I deactivated the plugin WPS Hide Login and the issue remains ... could you take a look again? Thank you
