I have setup custom pricing for two tickets for an event (Early Bird and Regular). Is it possible to show a "sold out" ticket for 'Early Bird' while not showing how many remaining spots are available for 'Regular' tickets.
Current behaviour seems to be that if you don't show "Spots Capacity Visibility" in customize users will still be able to add an early bird ticket and move onto the next step but will only received a sold out message after completing the form.
Would actually prefer if the user just saw a 'Sold out' on the ticket selection section and was unable to add any further tickets before moving to next screen. And would also not like to show how many remaining tickets there are in the still available spots.
The visibility of spots has nothing to do with the customer's ability to book their attendance. Check out the attached screen recording, please. If one ticket type is booked out, no one will be able to book that.
Unfortunately, if you hide the spots, that also hides the "No Spots Left" text. I'll check with our developers if we can add this in one of our upcoming updates.

This would be a welcome feature.
Also I think the plugin behaviour is different if you choose to use custom pricing via date range as I am still able to select 'sold out' tickets via the plugin. May be a bug that also needs to be addressed in a future update.
I've recreated this issue, please see attached video. Seems to be related to the pricing option 'Allow Bringing more people'. When checked, the behaviour is as intended. When unchecked, it will allow customers to select 'sold out' tickets and even confirm registration.
I can't replicate the issue with double booking locally (see the attached screen recording), but I agree with you that the ticket that's been sold out should not be bookable.
I forwarded the ticket to our developers, so they'll take a look at it. I'll get back to you as soon as I hear from them.
Our testers found the issue and logged a bug for the issue. It seems to be appearing only when you're logged into WordPress, so it shouldn't happen for your customers.
Anyway, the bug's been logged and it should be resolved for one of our upcoming updates. Thanks for letting us know!
I'm also interested in the early bird solution that allows a specific price till a deadline date and after that date it shouldnt be available (sold out).
Hi Sawan, My solution was to have one ticket labelled 'Early Bird/Regular' and then have that ticket priced differently based on date with the custom pricing options.

Hi again Thomas.
I can't replicate this issue locally.
Can you please record your screen showing me how you configured this event?

Perhaps it also has something to do with the 'pricing by date range' option. That's one thing I saw configured differently between what you and I did.
