Hi, this is a recurring issue. When a student registers to a group class and she is the first student in the class it creates a zoom link. If she decides on the way to cancel and not to attend, is she cancels, the group class disappears all together. SO, when the next student joins, it creates a new zoom link. So there is an issue when the fist student cancels.
Can you fix that problem ? it needs to keep the class open. thanks !
If there's only one customer on a group class - when they cancel their attendance, the Zoom link is removed, so when the next 1st customer registers, another link is created? If that's true, that's how it's supposed to work.
It's not supposed to delete the link when there are multiple customers registered, and the 1st one who booked cancels.
So, if there are 5 customers, and the one who initially booked cancels - if this happens, the link should remain in Amelia.
But if there's 1 customer (with the total capacity set to (for example) 10), and they cancel before anyone else books, that's expected behavior, since the appointment is canceled altogether.
Hi Aleksandar! This is the problem, there was 9 people in the group class already, and the initial person cancelled and when she did the only think left was the zoom link in my client account. The group class on the schedule disappeared all together so the link in Amelia was not there no more as it should of been. This happened more than one also. The capacity is to 100. So now when I registered myself to make a test it created a group class with a new zoom link... What can we do to resolve this issue. thanks !
I can't replicate this on my end (see the attached screen recording).
The 1st customer that booked the appointment is the customer I later logged in with and canceled the appointment, but it can in no way delete the entire appointment. That would be a huge bug which would be reported by thousands of users.
Can you please record your screen and show me how this happens? This should only be possible if an employee, a manager, or an admin delete the appointment.
Hi Aleksandar, I looked at your video and I do understand. So what it means is that if I cancel from the backend in the package of the clients it cancels the class all together... so the admin can't cancel a class from the client package because it deletes the entire class. That's what happened. We went into the bundle of the client and cancel a class and it made it disappear from the schedule. I will tell the clients to cancel in their account for now on if that created an issue. If it happens an other time I will let you know. Thanks ! Just confirm that what I said is correct.
If the whole appointment was canceled, then yes, the Zoom meeting is canceled as well. But you can change the status of a single customer in an appointment:
So, just edit the appointment and change the status of a single customer, not the whole group.
Hi Aleksandar, this is not where I cancelled the class for my client but in the Services - Manage package - and deleted the class. I choose the class then delete it in the garbage. Should I just put cancelled instead. and will she be able to reschedule because the class is not put into the package. thanks!
You should just cancel it, yes. As you saw, if you delete the appointment, and it turns out to be a group appointment, it will be deleted for other people.
If you cancel, or if you delete the class, it will not be "returned" to the customer, so if they booked 10/15 appointments and you delete or cancel one, it will still say 10/15, not 09/15 booked appointments.

Hello Sylvie.
Let me just make sure I understand the issue:
