Appointment options - selecting multiple time slots

    Hey there;

I have a client (cleaning company) that wants to set up appointment scheduling on their website. They'd like customers to pick 3 times / dates that work for them, and then finalize the appointment over the phone.

Automatic scheduling wouldn't work for them as they need to best organize their day, which is why they want to do the manual part.

The reason I'm thinking of using Amelia is so they can mark a day / time as booked, and manually enter things in, so people can't over-book certain dates/times.

Would this be feasible? Or should I look at another option for them?

    Thanks!

    Hi there.

Thank you for reaching out to us.

It could be done, since admins and employees can block days available for bookings and book appointments from the back-end.

Amelia is primarily used for online bookings, and if the client is OK with manually assigning appointments instead of allowing the customers to book online, that's fine.

Do you have more information about the customer's experience in this case?

    Kind Regards,

    Aleksandar Vuković

    hey Aleksandar,

I’m working on convincing them that it would work for them as is, but as a mobile cleaning company they are concerned about travel time so want to have a few dates and times to select from.

Is there a way with Amelia that they could pick, for example, three different dates / times to be confirmed after the fact?

    Hi again.

You can define availability with service duration and employees' working hours.

The availability of services is determined by the Work Hours and Special Days of your employees. If the employees have working hours from Mon - Fri, from 09:00 - 17:00, all services the employees are assigned to will be able to provide appointments during those times, dependent on the duration of each service.

Special Days overwrite regular working hours, so if your employee is working from 09:00 - 17:00, you can create a special date for a certain date or date range, and override those hours. Please note that Special Days cannot overwrite Days Off.

With the Developer license, that you currently have, you can create Packages and define 3 appointments in there. The customers would need to choose 3 dates and 3 time slots, so I don't know if this would be useful.
