Events from Google Calendar will not be displayed in Amelia but busy events from Google Calendar will block time slots in Amelia. For that purpose, please make sure that the "Remove Google Calendar Busy Slots" option is enabled on the Amelia/Settings/Integrations/Google Calendar page. Also, you can increase the "Maximum Number Of Events Returned" option as well.
I have the same issue since updating Amelia. I looked into it and I am seeing that the URI contains a # which is not allowed according to google api. I'm sending you a screenshot to check. Please help!
It seems to me that you either edited our default Redirect URI value that was in your Amelia integration settings, or you are maybe manually taking the full URL from the Employee Page on back-end and pasting that in your Google Cloud Console.
We will explain how it works and how to solve it.
-
In terms of the page for the employees having that hash # symbol,
you should not take the full URL from your employees page, but just leave the default URL which our developers placed in your Amelia settings/integrations/
For example, on my localhost WordPress test, my integration URL says :
For your sites, just change this localhost/current to your actual site URL.
So, if i check above when i open my Employees page on back-end, i also have that "additional" part in the URL with the hash (#), same as your screenshots :
If you tried to manually copy this URL from the top of the page and added this in your Google Cloud Console,
please don't do it like that.
You need to go in the Amelia settings/Integrations/Google Calendar,
and there do not edit the Redirect URI, it should be like this :
I am delighted to hear that this has been resolved. Thank you for letting us know. Anything else that we could assist with, please don't hesitate to create new tickets.

Hello,
I don't understand but when I try to connect an employee I get this message systematically? Can you tell me why ?

Hello Victorian,
can you confirm are you connecting the employee's Calendar on the back-end of Amelia employee settings when that error happens,
or are you trying it from the Employee Panel on front-end?
-
If you are trying from Employee Panel :
As it is explained on this Documentation,
in order to allow employees to connect their Google calendars from the front-end Employee panel,
you need to add the full URL of the page where you have the front-end Employee panel
to the "Authorized Redirect URI", on your Google Developers Console, as well.
Please make sure to include the whole URL, with the closing ” / ” included, as shown in the screenshot below (“staff-portal” redirect URI).
Please check out my Video here, which shows step-by-step how to do that correctly.
-
Let me know how it goes, that should solve the issue. Thank you
Kind Regards,

Hi Roshan,
I also have the # in the url and I have the impression that this is blocking the synchronization with Google Calendar
Hi Victorien,
Yes I believe so. Waiting on Milos to get back to us.
Hi, Victorien and Roshan.
Apologies for the waiting time.

You need to go in the Amelia settings/Integrations/Google Calendar,
and there do not edit the Redirect URI, it should be like this :
http://www.YourWebsite/wp-admin/admin.php?page=wpamelia-employees
( Of course, change the "YourWebsite" to your actual site URL)
but if you already edited it,
please just remove that part at the end #/employees and just have it as explained above ( as it was when you originally installed Amelia by default).
Then go to your Google Cloud Console, and paste URI like that.
-
If you try to connect the Employees from the front-end, or in other words, if you plan to have an Employee Panel,
also add your Employee Panel URL to the list of Authorised Redirect URI's in your Google Cloud Console.
Here is my example screenshot :
As you can see, my Employees are able to connect without issues.
Let us know if that helps, i hope so.
Thank you.

Hello Milos,
Thanks for your response. Yes it worked fine with copying the URI from the integration panel.

Roshan
