When I try to create an event and hit the save button, no event appears - the screen still says - there are no results. The most obvious thought I had was I had created an event outside the range of dates it was going to display, but I checked that and I made sure the event was within the displayed date range.
I'm sure I'm making some obvious mistake and I did watch the tutorial, followed it exactly and still nothing appeared. Maybe a setting is wrong?
I'm not sure I changed anything, but now I can make events - so that's awesome.
Next problem, when I go to the front end page where I entered the shortcode, there's a hourglass icon that spins a couple times and then freezes. Any thoughts? I tried lots of different versions of the event shortcode but they all end up with the same freezing hourglass. The appointments work fine.
Any thoughts what I should do next as a possible solution? I noticed I have an old version of PHP (not 8.1)… maybe that’s it? Or maybe it’s a plugin conflict?
Please provide me a temporary WP-admin (administrator) user for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue.
We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course, we do not provide login data to third parties.

Issues like this usually occur when there is a conflict either with the theme currently active on your website, or another plugin you have installed.
Can you please change the theme and see if the issue is resolved? If not, then please deactivate all other plugins except for our plugin, refresh the page where the issue is, and see if it is resolved (it should be). If it is, then start activating other plugins one by one, and after each activation refresh the page to see if the issue reoccurred. Once it does reoccur, you will have found the plugin causing the issue.
So I turned off all my plugins (except for Amelia) and changed to the "Twenty Twenty/twentytwenty_thingy" theme. Still, when I did the [Ameliaevents] shortcode, the screen froze and gave me the hourglass.
Next steps? I'm sure I'm simply doing something foolish.
The reason why the form is not visible on the front end is not in Amelia, but instead in your security settings. They're either configured in a Security plugin (if you have any), or they're on your server's side.
The best option would be to reach out to your hosting provider, send them the link of the booking page and tell them exactly what you told us.

I went in and changed the pdobigselect to true and it's still stalling out with the hourglass icon.

Alright. I'll check with them.
Does it help to have the error codes? Or is that info you already have? I've attached them in case that's useful.

Hello Wally,
You can also provide them with the error code as well.
Hope that they will be able to assist you with this.
Looking forward to your reply.
