We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
I'm having problems integrating Amelia with PayPal.
The help instruction seen out of date and the screenshot don't show what I'm seeing in PayPal.
When I switch from the sandbox mode to live mode the Client Key and Secrete disappeared and there are no new ones in PayPal?
Please can you provide a clear and concise instructions on how to go from Sandbox mode to Live mode.
Many Thanks
Hello David.
The documentation is not out of date, and the credentials should still be there. We've checked on our live websites, and the LIVE credentials do appear once the Sandbox is disabled:
Did you update the plugin to the latest version (6.3)?
This could also be coming from a conflict with another plugin, or the theme you're using but I can't say for sure. Would you be able to provide me with temporary wp-admin (Admin) credentials, so that I can take a look?
Also, since this is a public ticket, make sure to post a PRIVATE response, so no one else can see the credentials except for us.
Kind Regards,
Aleksandar Vuković

Hi Aleksandar,
Thanks for getting back in me.
I was referring to the screenshots of PayPal being out of date on your configure payment page: https://wpamelia.com/configuring-payments/#paypal It look quite different now as they must have redesigned the PayPal Developer platform. No big deal.
The confusion comes when you only have the this paragraph for the Live mode:
"To use the Live mode, you need to copy “Live Client ID” and “Live Secret” from your PayPal account (App) and paste them into Amelia Settings/Payments/PayPal."
But then you have very detailed instructions with screenshots for sandbox mode.
I've found out from other resources how to now do this but I just feel you could have more information on setting up live mode like you do for sandbox mode. My suggestion would be this:
Live Mode
To set up your PayPal Live setting simply follow the next steps:
Oh, OK, David, thanks for pointing that out!
I'll make the textual changes in the documentation, but can I ask you for a screenshot, please? I can't validate a live business account without verification, so this would be quite useful.
Just make sure to blur your credentials.
Kind Regards,
Aleksandar Vuković
