Firstly, I would like to sincerely apologize for the delayed response as we have been experiencing an unusually high number of tickets. I am sorry that it has taken longer than usual to respond to your concern and your patience is highly appreciated.

Could you please elaborate a bit more about the first point,
Master / detail Client -<- Detail linked ?
With our add-on Master Details, with the built-in logic it is made to allow hiding some columns from the table's initial "view",
then when a user clicks into a row - the Master Details are going to bring all the other "hidden columns" which you have selected as visible in "master details section".
But it seems to me that you are trying to do something more complex, so if you can elaborate in more details about that use-case,
please also provide any working example with screenshots or a Video if possible, so that we can understand what is needed, then we can advise if it's possible with our plugin?
2. Grid view both :
We do not have a "grid view" available for our tables, or our Master Details.
But if you can please add any screenshots or a video as an example to understand exactly what you meant by this?
Thanks very much for your response, please don't worry about the delay - it's good to be in touch.
I will set out something a bit more coherent later today NZST, just for now what would be very helpful is to know if there is any way that we can do master -<- detail in the product. Just to be clear we have a project on quite a tight time schedule which requires
Practitioner
Client
Client
Client
data architecture
We're happy with workarounds and the total number of records will be in the 100's unlikely more
Just checking, because unfortunately i am still not understanding what you described here.
This data structure seems simple, as one Column with Header name as "Practitioner", and then three rows for client 1 , client 2, and client 3 ?
Or perhaps you mean to have "Practitioner" as a master table, then have three "child" tables for each Client?
Also i am still unclear about a "grid view", if you have any screenshot or Video as similar working examples, it could be any kind of data as long as we can understand the points, so to speak.
If it has any sensitive data for screenshots or Video, please mark reply as PRIVATE for safety reasons.
Depending on how the data structure will be with tables/columns and relations, then we will be able to say if it can be editable.
For example, if you need to make JOINs in an SQL Query, or an SQL VIEW , then it will not be editable.
But if you use our Foreign Key Relations feature to pull data from foreign table's columns, then it can be editable as single value selectbox.
We would like to generate a simple app as follows
Will the Master / detail plugin allow this?
Can we nest more than two layers
Thanks very much. We are doing very well with WPDatatables

3. Editable both:
You can make editable tables in our plugin, please check more here;
but from the Master Details ( pop up, post or page) it is not possible to edit directly in the Master Details section.

A solution doesn't need to include the plugin

Hi, Mike and Stephie.
Thank you very much for understanding, once again apologies for the delayed between the replies.
Can you tell me is this use-case different from the one we covered on your other ticket?
