Hey there, Awesome Customers!

Just a heads up: We'll be taking a breather to celebrate International Workers' Day (May 1st and 2nd - Wednesday and Thursday) and Orthodox Easter from Good Friday (May 3rd) through Easter Monday (May 6th). So, from May 1st to May 6th, our team will be off enjoying some well-deserved downtime.

During this time, our customer support will be running on a smaller crew, but don't worry! We'll still be around to help with any urgent matters, though it might take us a bit longer than usual to get back to you.

We'll be back in action at full throttle on May 7th (Tuesday), ready to tackle your questions and requests with gusto!

In the meantime, you can explore our documentation for Amelia and wpDataTables. You'll find loads of helpful resources, including articles and handy video tutorials on YouTube (Amelia's YouTube Channel and wpDataTables' YouTube Channel). These gems might just have the answers you're looking for while we're kicking back.

Thanks a bunch for your understanding and support!

Catch you on the flip side!

Warm regards,

TMS

Is there a customer profile page where customers can view the services they purchased?

Is there a way to have customers only have one service option before being able to book other services?

    Thank you for your time.

    Hello James,

Thank you for your interest in our product.

Yes, customer can access their profile and their appointments in the customer panel. You can read more about it on this link https://wpamelia.com/front-end-customer-panel/.

As for a way to have customers only have one service option before being able to book other services. Unfortunately, currently, this feature is not built-in in Amelia.

Amelia doesn't yet have a membership feature, but it will be developed as a part of the Developer license (maybe even as part of the Pro license) in the future. But there may be a workaround you're interested in.

Any membership plugin (like MemberPress, or Ultimate Member, etc.) allows you to create pages that are inaccessible to some (for example non-logged-in users). You can also create custom logic, so a user can access this page once a month (for example), but we're not sure about that, since we don't work with Membership plugins.

We wish you all the best.

    Have a nice day.

    Kind Regards,

    Hello Marko,

Thank you for your quick reply. We are looking at the options you suggested below.

I'm using the category booking wizard and it seems that it only shows if I'm logged in and it doesn't show if I'm not logged in. Is there a setting that I missed that only allows logged-in users to see the booking wizard?

Thanks again for all your help.

    Hello Marko,

I just tried both options for the shortcodes. The 2.0 is the issue (not sure why). The 1.0 is working. The 2.0 version is extremely more appealing. I would like to figure out why it isn't working and use that version. Please let me know if there is anything you suggest.

    Thank you.

Sorry Marko for the multiple replies.

I got the 2.0 to work so disregard the below replies.

I did have another question though. We go to our client's location for our appointments. I was wondering if there is an option to get an address when they are booking the appointment.

    Thanks again.

    Hello again Marko,

I'm continuing to dive into your Amelia software. I'm trying out the booking form and it seems the only time slots are from 2 AM in the morning to 10 AM. Is there a way to change the times that are available for them to book? I've searched the settings and have not found anywhere to do that. Please let me know what I'm missing.

Thanks yet again for your time.

    Hello James,

    1. I'm using the category booking wizard and it seems that it only shows if I'm logged in and it doesn't show if I'm not logged in. Is there a setting that I missed that only allows logged-in users to see the booking wizard? - We can see that you have found the issue but inn 99% of cases the reason why the form is not visible for non-logged-in users is not in Amelia, but instead in your security settings. They're either configured in a Security plugin (if you have any), or they're on your server's side.

The best option would be to reach out to your hosting provider, send them the link of the booking page and tell them exactly what you told us - you can see the page when you're logged in as an admin, but you can't see it from an incognito window (or when you're logged out). They should be able to lift the block, so admin-ajax calls are sent for non-logged-in users also.

    2. I did have another question though. We go to our client's location for our appointments. I was wondering if there is an option to get an address when they are booking the appointment. - Yes, of course you can create custom fields and ask for a customers address

    3. Service work hours depend on employee work hours. The availability of the service is defined by employees' working hours, so you would need to edit those in order to achieve this.

When you go to Amelia/Employees, and select that employee, go to the Work Hours tab. In there create several working periods. For example:

    2856665082.png

My employee would work on "Service 1" and "Service 2" from 08:00 - 10:30, on "Second" service from 10:30 - 15:30, and then again on "Service 1" and "Service 2" from 15:30 - 24:00.

You'd be adding these periods by clicking on the blue + sign next to the name of the day, in the top right.

If you have any more questions please open a new separate ticket for each question and we will gladly help you there.

We wish you all the best.

    Have a nice day.

    Hello Marko,

We are starting a pet-sitting business and clients are needing to be able to book 1 to 3 time slots each day or every other day. Example: a client would like us to walk their dog 2 times a day for the next 10 days while they are away on vacation.

Is this possible with the plugin?

Thanks again for all your help in this process.

    Hello James.

Marko is out of the office so I'll take over.

This would be achievable in 2 ways:

    1. With the Recurring Appointments feature, where your customers would have the freedom to select how many times, and in what manner the appointment will be repeated (for example, every day, 10 recurrences). However, since there's no way to have it repeat twice a day, they'd need to book 2 recurring appointments.

    2. You'd need to purchase Amelia Pro or Amelia Developer license, in order to use Packages. You'd be able to create multiple packages where you'd define how many appointments can be included in a package, so your customers would be able to book these one by one.

The downside is that they need to select each time slot for each appointment in the package, so I don't know if either of these two options would suit your needs.
