    Hi,

    I offer customer panel to my clients so that when they buy a package of services, they can book 1-3 of the meetings from the customer panel. I offer psychological meetings and the customer can choose whether he wants to attend by zoom or phone. I have created a drop-down menu and when a customer books a meeting directly from my pages, he must choose phone or video meeting at the same time when booking a meeting. In this situation I see from the Amelia booking system which one of the meeting the customer has chosen.

    BUT THE PROBLEM IS that when the customer books a meeting from the customer panel (when he has bought a package of services) there is no opportunity for him to choose phone or video meeting, only the date and time of the meeting from the calendar. This leads to a very difficult situation, that I as an employee don´t get notice of whether the client wants phone or video meeting. 

    So what can I do? It´s not possible for me to contact my customers directly every time when they book a meeting from the customer panel and ask which one they want (phone or video) and also I don´t want to ask them to inform me about it every time.

    THis is how it works at the moment and there is no option to change this behavior at the moment. We have a plan to add these options in the future, but there is no ETA on this.

    Hi, 

    this sounds very weird... I can´t believe that there is not such an option in the customer panel. This makes things very hard indeed. When customer buys a package of services and books the meetings from the customer panel there is no way for him to choose does he want a phone or a video meeting. Amelia offers the drop-down menu option for the services when making the booking directly from the front end page but not in the customer panel. This should be fixed instantly. When my customers books meeting from the customer panel I have to every time contact them and ask whether they want phone or video meeting, this is not the way a booking calendar should work! I think Amelias customers buys Amelia because they want the booking system to be easy for the customer and for the employee.

    Could you please ask the developer team to fix this fundamental error in the system soon. I have had so many problems with Amelia and finally (hopefully) the problems are fixed and the notifications work properly from this on and when I was confronted with this issue and you told me that "this is how it works at the moment and we don´t know when we are going to add these options" I was like so frustrated and deveated; I was thingking what is this, how is it possible that I bought this online booking system and now I have to contact my package buying customers every time they book a meeting!?

    Thank you very much for your suggestion and feedback. That would indeed be a great option. I will have this passed on to our management for it to be implemented in the future.

    This would take some time as it would require our developers to change the logic of the customer panel functionality.
