    I am coming back to a question I had over 2 years ago, and to the main reason why Amelia is not my booking software of choice:

    Is there ANY WAY to connect multiple google calendars to Amelia so that it cannot overbook me when I have already other appointments in other calendars?

    I don't mind if there is a complicated solution, I just need a working solution - so I am happy to add code, programming - whatever - just to make this work.

    It's incredibly frustrating to wait 2+ years already for something that free booking software out there can already do

    ...not to mention that Amelia, because of this, is not meant for many professionals. All consultants that I know simply have multiple calendars for their projects.

    Please, give me a workable solution to this problem!

    Hello Christian,

    Thank you for reaching out to us.

    Unfortunately, currently, this feature is not built-in in Amelia, and we do not have an eta of when or if it will be implemented. Amelia can't see shared calendars. Only calendars that were created as part of the account to which it is connected.

    Amelia can only pull one calendar from your Google Account. We'll work on including all calendars linked to a Google Account, but I don't have an ETA on that as we mentioned.

    For example, I have all these calendars in my Google Account:

    (It doesn't matter if they are selected or not in my Google account)

    When I link my employee to this Google Account, I can only see these:

    The [email protected] is the default calendar I got when I opened this Google Account, and "iCal", "Test calendar" and "[email protected]" were calendars that were manually added. Other calendars (Holidays, shared calendars, etc) cannot be pulled into Amelia because they're either globally shared, locally shared, or manually shared between accounts.

    So, all events Amelia is going to pull, are going to be pulled from the selected calendar in the Employee's section.

    I'll kindly ask you to add it as a feature suggestion on this link https://features.wpamelia.com/

    Features are pushed up on our "to-do" list when there are a lot of customers requesting those features, so having your vote as a customer can be beneficial to this feature being developed sooner.

    Hi Marko,

    thank you for your reply and explanation. There is however no point in adding this again as this feature is already there multiple times:

    #1676 with 15 upvotes and

    #65 with 230 upvotes

    And that is only from a quick search... its the 21st most requested feature on the platform.


    I mean you have in the planning phase features with 18 upvotes...

    Omg I need this so bad, how is this supposed to work without multiple calendar sync. Literally have to use a completely different tool just because of this

    We truly appreciate your understanding and interest. While there remains a possibility for this implementation in the future, we regret to inform you that it is not currently available. Presently, we have a lineup of 20 new options and features with higher priority, slated for implementation within the upcoming six months. Regrettably, we are unable to provide a definite timeline or confirmation regarding the potential implementation of this particular feature.
