    Hello,

I have a build that sells courses. One of the courses runs every Saturday from 8am to 4pm. If a person is experienced in driving they need to do one day and if they are a beginner they need to attend two days. Example:

ATV Driving Course: (max capacity 4 people)

    Beginner - 2 days training = €535.00

    Experienced - 1 day training = €295.00

Is there a way to set this up in Amelia Events or even a workaround that you recommend?

    Kind regards,

    Marianna

    Hello,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

Unfortunately this is not built in in Amelia. If you have created two day event when a customer buy's a ticket they can attend both days.

So in your case you need to create two separate events. One for beginners and one for experience.

If you have any more questions please open another ticket and we will gladly help you there.

We wish you all the best.

    Have a nice day.

    Kind Regards,

    Hi Marko

Ok but this creates an issue. So there are only 4 ATV vehicles so the max capacity for the training is 4 people. I know that it is not possible to set capacity across two events so that's why I tried to merge the events so that the max bookings would be four people. In this case can you advise if any of these workarounds would work?

    - Add a custom field on the payment page to say "Check this box if you are a beginner and we will call you to arrange your first day of training?". If box is checked total amount due increases to 535e.

    - Create the beginner event  for training day 1 in the backend only (private out front end) and then send a payment link to people who enquire about it?

    - When booking the person can choose to attend one day or two days of the event. When they are paying for 2 days they get a discount for the two day (could even be a coupon code that displays on payment page telling person to enter the code to reduce the price to 535e.

    - the event only displays training day two for booking online (this is the same as the experienced training day). Then when people select beginner a warning notice displays in the description or on payment page or somewhere very visible when they are selecting date to say "You have selected beginner training. We will contact you with information on when you can complete your Day one training. Please allow at least 7 days notice for us to schedule this first day training with you". Ideally it would be amazing if people who select beginner can only book 7 days from today and others can book within 24 hours.

Apologies for the length of this but I need a workaround that I can use with existing Amelia.

    Hello,

You can try and create custom price for events where you can say for example

    Advanced - 1 days ticket 300

    Beginner - 2 day ticket 600

    Like this

Maybe this solution will work for you.

    Have a nice day.
