Firstly, I would like to sincerely apologize for the delayed response as we have been experiencing an unusually high number of tickets. I am sorry that it has taken longer than usual to respond to your concern and your patience is highly appreciated.

The only way to set up a condition that looks if any field cell is empty, and then if the condition is true to hide it;
is with our Conditional Formatting.
There can be multiple ways - you can hide the entire row of data if the cell is empty,
or hide an entire column - but it is not possible to only set this up for the Master-Details;
you can only set it up for the entire table,
so at the moment, we don't have an ideal solution as you need it.
It is an interesting idea to add Conditional formatting that would only affect the Master Detail section,
you can suggest this future option for our developers.
to see if someone may be already suggested this feature. If you can't see it, feel free to add your suggestion there, and as more people vote, the feature will move higher on the priority list.
You can certainly follow our changeLog page if you'd like ( it is also available in the plugin dashboard), where we state any changes/new features/bug fixes during updates;
and our newsletter, so you're informed about new features, bug fixes, freebies, etc.

Here you can see more details explained with an example how the current Conditional Formatting works,
so you can try this out, if you can find an alternate solution that might be useful for your use-case.
Thank you. I still have a few more issues to work out/around, but I did get the conditional formatting to work and was able to successfully hide the row if it doesn't contain data under the Column Settings' Conditional formatting by 'Set cell CSS class' to 'hide' if the cell value is blank. I have 'Allow collapsing on mobiles and tables' checked, set the wpDataTables>Settings tablet width set to 2500, so the collapsing occurs on desktop as well.
How can we NOT show a field on the detail page if it does not have content?
