Hi everyone,
GoDaddy hosts my website (WordPress built through Divi). I have Outlook email through GoDaddy.
I have to use (I think) SMTP for Amelia to send email Notifications. In order to do that, I have to turn on SMTP in GoDaddy. If I do that, I will lose (I think) some default email security features.
Is it safe to turn on SMTP in GoDaddy and use SMTP through Amelia plugin?
*I have Authenticator verification for Outlook.
**I sort of understand this stuff (I am not the most tech savvy; I just learned some over the years from Googling and YouTubing whenever a problem occurs on my website).
Thank you so much
Hello,
Thank you for reaching out to us.
If you configure SMTP through other configurations on the website, you will need to use "WP Mail" as a Mail service on the Amelia/Settings/Notifications page.
Hope this helps you.
Please let me know if you have any other questions.
Kind Regards,
Uros Jovanovic
