    Hi There,

I have quite a few questions about the Amelia plugin that I'd like some support/advice with. I want to make sure it's all correct before launching. Please see below:

    1. My client wants to reduce the price when booking multiple appointments together - Is it possible to set this up through your plugin?

    2. Just generally making sure I have set up the plugin properly - Checking I cannot book times that are already taken by other customers.

    3. Setting up a 'grace' period which allows people to be up to 10 minutes late.

    4. Not really necessary as I've done it through nth-of-type, but is there a way to hide certain products/prices for people logged in/logged out of the site. Just wondering if there is a future-proof method through the plugin itself.

    Thank you in advance!

    Hello Alfie,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

    1. My client wants to reduce the price when booking multiple appointments together - Is it possible to set this up through your plugin? - Yes, and no. You have a Basic license so this is not possible. But with the Pro license you can offer packages of services and you can set the lower price for a package. You can read more about packages on this link https://wpamelia.com/packages/

    2. Just generally making sure I have set up the plugin properly - Checking I cannot book times that are already taken by other customers. - When you offer group classes you need to enable the option "Allow booking below minimum capacity" in Amelia/settings/appointment settings. When this is enabled, multiple customers will be able to book the same time slot, without having to fill in the minimum capacity.

    3. Setting up a 'grace' period which allows people to be up to 10 minutes late. - Unfortunately, currently, this feature is not built-in in Amelia.

    4. Not really necessary as I've done it through nth-of-type, but is there a way to hide certain products/prices for people logged in/logged out of the site. Just wondering if there is a future-proof method through the plugin itself. - Unfortunately, currently, this feature is not built-in in Amelia.

Amelia doesn't yet have a membership feature, but it will be developed as a part of the Developer license (maybe even as part of the Pro license) in the future. But there may be a workaround you're interested in.

Any membership plugin (like MemberPress, or Ultimate Member, etc.) allows you to create pages that are inaccessible to some (for example non-logged-in users). You can also create custom logic, so a user can access this page once a month (for example), but we're not sure about that, since we don't work with Membership plugins.

When you have several questions or issues, please open a new ticket, and we will help you there. In that way, issues and questions which are related to different subjects will be in separate tickets so other customers or our support agents can find them easily.

Our policy is to have one issue or question per ticket because of the reasons that are described already.

    Thank you for understanding.

If you have any more questions please open a new separate ticket for each question and we will gladly help you there.

We wish you all the best.

    Have a nice day.

    Kind Regards,
