I am half way through a two week trial of Amelia and liking a lot of it but have been waiting quite a few days for help with some stuff so please do get back to me ASAP on my other ticket (outlook/google syncing, ticket #3353075). In addition, I have the following issue. If I can't get these resolved I won't be able to continue with Amelia despite liking most of it.
I have installed WP crontrol plugin to set up the scheduled notifications. Despite very carefully following instructions and double checking many times that I have put the right link in, the WP crontrol widget gives me this error when I create the new php cron: Line 1: Unclosed '('
I put the following in to the PHP section, as recommended in your tutorial:
Please provide me a temporary WP-admin (administrator) user for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue.
We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course, we do not provide login data to third parties.
You can write credentials here just check PRIVATE Reply so nobody can see them except us.
Have you had any luck with this? I am nearly there with the trial and everything else is working more or less ok so I'd love to get this PHP error fixed so scheduled notifications go out.
Hi Dan, the support people went in and did something and it fixed it so I don’t know what the resolution was! If you have the same problem, maybe you could ask them to log in and fix it?

It is no longer showing an error in the cron event list but it also isn't sending emails.
it works! Thanks for your help.
Please share the resolution??

Hello Dan and Kate,
The issue was, I believe, with the apostrophe.
Dan, if you can provide me with the screenshot of how you configured the cron PHP code and I will let you know what the exact issue is.
Looking forward to your reply.

Thanks. In the meantime I asked ChatGPT who pointed out the apostrophe problem and fixed the line of PHP code for me
