Where do we find the options to customize the customer and employee panels? I need to set my corporate colors (currently blue) and translate the texts to Spanish.
- font: make sure the system locale is set correctly and matches Amelia's locale exactly. In my case, the system locale was Spanish (Colombia) and Amelia's was Spanish (Spain).
- employee and customer panel colors: this is hidden in customization -> booking forms 1.0. The problem is that the general description of what encompasses booking forms 1.0 only mentions step-by-step booking 1.0, catalog booking, search booking, event listing and event calendar booking. It doesn't mention the customer and employee panels. And even when you get into the customization capabilities, these panels are not mentioned. You have to set the overall colors to your own brand and magically the customer and employee panels will change.
We are delighted to hear that you have managed to find a solution. We are developing new customer and employee forms and they should have more option. Until then they need to be set in 1.0 booking from.
We know that you have set this up but just is case we will send you the instruction that we have personally tested.
In order to change the general colours of the Customer/Employee Panels as well as the text colour;
at the moment we don't have a separate setup that is only for the Panels;
but if you go to Amelia Customize/ choose Step 1.0 Forms,
and enable "use global colours",
then the same colours you set for any of these "Step 1.0" Booking Forms, will be reflected in the Panels :
Make the changes you need, then "save", clear cache of the site,
then refresh the Employee Panel page, and check the result :
Let me know how it goes, and if you have any questions
-
I also wish to point out that our developers are currently focused on a complete fresh redesign of Customer and Employee Panels,
they will release it soon, with new customization options,
just wanted to let you know.
We can't say an exact ETA, but it should be soon.
If you have any idea/suggestion on how we might improve it, and which customization options you would like to see;
to see if someone may be already suggested this feature. If you can't see it, feel free to add your suggestion there, and as more people vote, the feature will move higher on the priority list.
You can certainly follow our changeLog page if you'd like, where we state any changes/new features/bug fixes during updates;
and our newsletter, so you're informed about new features, bug fixes, freebies, etc.
Hope this helps.
If you have any more questions please open a new separate ticket for each question and we will gladly help you there.
