We are setting up the employee panel to allow a staff member to view the full calender for the studio ( events and appointments) as well as schedule appointments.
If we are trying to schedule an appointment for a new customer who isn't in the system, it doesn't allow us this option.
The "Amelia Employee" role, by default, can't create new customers as it lacks that capability.
At the moment, changing the capabilities of the role won't work because the employee role is designed in a way that doesn't allow the creation of new customers.
I'll check with our developers if there's a way to do that through the code, or to add a setting that would allow employees to write new customers and I'll get back to you when I hear from them.
For now, this is only possible through the WordPress backend, not the panel. If a user is logged in as an Amelia Employee and you enable the following permissions for the Amelia Employee role: amelia_read_customers, amelia_write_customers.
Again, this won't apply to the Employee Panel, but only for the WordPress back-end if you link your employee with a WordPress user with the "Amelia Employee" user role.
Please provide me a temporary WP-admin (administrator) user for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue.
We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course, we do not provide login data to third parties.
You can write credentials here just check PRIVATE Reply so nobody can see them except us.
When I log in as this employee, I see no issues adding an appointment through the Employee Panel:
The reason why this employee is not able to create any appointments from the back-end is because of user role conflict. You've assigned both "Amelia Manager" and "Amelia Employee" to the same user, so the capabilities of these roles are in conflict.
You need to edit this user, remove the additional role "Amelia Employee" and change the default role from "Amelia Manager" to "Amelia Employee". After that, when the employee logs into the back-end, they will be able to create an appointment:
"Amelia" roles can't be combined, nor should you combine any of the "Amelia" roles with the "Administrator" role.

Good Day
My staff member is now logging in at the back end but is unable to book an appointment - the function isnt available as it is on my profile.
Is this a setting we need to adjust?

Thank you Vicky, but can you also provide me with the staff member's credentials, so we can see what's going on?
Remember to enable the PRIVATE response please.
