We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
Hi!
I'm new to Amelia, so forgive me if I'm asking an obvious question. I've tried looking for the answer in the documentation but didn't find it. I want to create free time slots in the calendar of my employees, but not in a repeating way. So for example: for employee X I would like to create a free time slot on 2nd of May from 3-4PM and from 6-7PM and on 5th of May from 7-8PM. But I want this free time slots only on these specific days, not repeated every week.
How do I do this?
Kind regards
Stijn VB
Hello Stijn.
Thank you for reaching out to us.
If I understood correctly, these free slots should be employee's time off, when customers won't be able to book, correct?
If that is true, you need to access the Employees section and edit your employee. When you edit the employee, go to the Special Days section, and create one special day for each date, with two periods.
Check out the attached screen recording, to see an example of this. In the example from the video, I created 3 working periods on May 2nd:
From 09:00 - 15:00
From 16:00 - 18:00
From 19:00 - 21:00
So the periods in between (from 15:00 - 16:00, and from 18:00 - 19:00) are blocked for booking.
Let me know if that helps.
Kind Regards,
Aleksandar Vuković

Hi Aleksander
No, I meant to add specific time slots for employees when they can be booked.
But the issue is resolved: I used the employees tab and the 'special days'. At first this didn't work, but this seemed to be because my front-sidde webpage with Amelia on it was password protected. When I removed the protection, it worked fine.
Nonetheless: thanks for you reply!
You're welcome, Stijn.
I'm glad to hear the issue has been resolved.
Please feel free to reach out to us if you have any further questions or concerns!
Kind Regards,
Aleksandar Vuković
