We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
Hi
I've followed the instructions to transfer our Amelia data to a test site:
1. Selected and exported Amelia tables on the active site - ours are prefixed "20150_amelia".
2. On the test site where Amelia installed but not activated, I selected existing Amelia tables and then DROP to delete them - prefix on test site was "wp_amelia".
3. Imported the active data from the SQL file created at step 1.
4. Selected tables prefixed "20150_amelia" and replaced prefix with "wp_amelia" so same as they were previously on the test site.
5. Tried listing booking data: Amelia > Appointments shows same appointments on active and test sites but Amelia > Events shows NO EVENTS on test site.
6. Copied contents of 20150_options > amelia_settings field from active site to same field on test site - where table is called wp_options, otherwise same field copied. No changes made to field 'amelia_settings'.
7. Appointments still list ok but not events. Tried clearing cache through browser and refreshing browser window. Still no events :(
Checked the table "wp_amelia_events" with phpAdmin and I can see recently created event data has been imported - but not showing on test site when I click Amelia > Events.
If helpful, when I open developer tools at Amelia > Events, this is showing:
Tracking Prevention blocked access to storage for http://0.gravatar.com/avatar/9e0ab594ffce3c904bc010f044a09c73?s=26&d=mm&r=g.
amelia-booking-events-200489304ab696fdc03c.js:1 Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'name')
Is this related to PHP version ? On active site, it is v8. On test site, it is v7.2.
Can you advise please any other action I need to take?
Thanks
Peter
Related queries:
1. While transferring Amelia to another host/site, do you allow a temporary license for a short period while Amelia is tested on the new host/site OR are our options only: a) deactivate on current site and move license OR b) purchase additional licenses?
2. When I go to https://store.tms-plugins.com/ and login to download the full Amelia plugin to put on our new site, I see the message "Error - You are not allowed to download file". Is this because Amelia is already activated on our current site and needs deactivating there first?
As in Q1, we were hoping to have the new site running and be able to test the full version of Amelia before going "live" rather than have to deactivate Amelia on the current site.
Thanks
Peter
Hello Peter,
Thank you for reaching out to us and for your patience.
Please provide me a temporary WP-admin (administrator) user for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue.
We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course, we do not provide login data to third parties.
You can write credentials here just check PRIVATE Reply so nobody can see them except us.
Kind Regards,
Uros Jovanovic
