When is Amelia going to be able to send the data to Stripe in order for them to send receipts? I know about the workaround, but this gets overwritten each time there is an update. Plus it is dangerous for customers to be editing these files.
With all of the updates I see being made to Amelia, I just don't understand why sending the data to Stripe so they can send receipts is not being addressed. Can someone please explain why?
I'm afraid that we didn't quite get what you want to achieve exactly? Can you explain to us in a little more detail, and send us a couple of screenshots?
For now, the only way to do this is through this workaround. Our developers are aware of this and are working on it, and as soon as there is a better solution, we will implement it in Amelia.

I'm sorry, I'm really not trying to be a pain in the neck... but this has been like this for YEARS.
I am really surprised that the folks at Amelia do not seem to understand the importance of sending receipts to customers when they buy something. This should be a HIGH priority issue. There are many features and fixes I see in the changelog that are much lower priority than this. This affects ALL of your customers who use Stripe as a payment gateway.
I simply can not remember a single time when I purchased something online via Stripe when I did not receive a sales receipt.
