    hello!

Thank you for providing such a high performance WP plug-in.  I am interested in purchasing the Lifetime Access to Amelia.

When a customer signs up on Amelia, there is a field "Word Press User" - choices: "select" or "create new".  See attached image.

    1.  If the person selects "create new" may I ask what KIND of WP user is created?

    2.  And what are the permissions that this new WP user has?

    3.  Can this be changed by a programmer on my end?

    Other subject please:

If two services are offered of differing time durations, eg. 60 min (returning clients) and 90 min (new clients) - at the same location, by the same person - how does Amelia calculate and present the timeslots of these differing appointment availabilities?  By sequence of demand?  Or does it reserve certain times systematically each day?  Or is it just better to have new clients contact me directly so I can override the system?  What is the best solution here?

    Thank you so much!

    Best regards

    Sheryl

    Hello Sheryl,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

Firstly, I would like to sincerely apologize for the delayed response as we have been experiencing an unusually high number of tickets. I am sorry that it has taken longer than usual to respond to your concern and your patience is highly appreciated.

When the WP user is created with the "Amelia customer" role, the customer will be able to access their appointments and events on the back end.

I recommend installing the "User Role Editor" plugin. It allows you to change permissions for each WordPress role.

Can you please elaborate on your last question and I will assist you with this?

    Looking forward to your reply.

    Kind Regards,

    Dear Uros,

Thank you so much for the great info - I will definitely install the « User Role Editor »

Please excuse the delay of this message, I wrote you back but somehow neglected to press send!

An elaboration of my second question :

I offer two sorts of appointments : appts for new clients - which are 90 min, and appts for clients I have seen before - which are 60 min.

I would like to know how Amelia presents the front end time slot offerings for these appointments of differing time length.

If a new client would like to book an appt, does Amelia show ONLY 90 min time slots?  And then afterwards, if someone signs in and wants to book a 60 min appt, does Amelia just adjust all the time slots and moves all the time offerings forward to accommodate the 90 min booked appt?

This must be fairly common as services in a hair salon are of different times, right?

Thank you so much for your help!

    Have a great week!

    Sheryl

    Hello Sheryl,

Thank you for clearing that up.

You could set this up with some type of membership.

Amelia doesn't yet have a membership feature, but it will be developed as a part of the Developer license (maybe even as part of the Pro license) in the future.

Any membership plugin (like MemberPress, or Ultimate Member, etc.) allows you to create pages that are inaccessible to some (for example non-logged-in users). You can also create custom logic, so a user can access this page once a month (for example), but we're not sure about that, since we don't work with Membership plugins.

At the moment we can't give you more precise information because as we said we don't work with membership plugins but you can buy Amelia's license and try it out we have a 15-day money-back guarantee and in that time period you can see if Amelia suits your needs.
