Hello, I am trying to setup private tour bookings. After a guest submits a request, I need to contact the guides and see who is available before confirming the booking.
My questions is, if there is any way to not assign a guide right away. I understand that that's probably not possible because the time slots have to come from somewhere.
Now what I am wondering is, if it would make sense to create an employee that's called "Unassigned" who has timeslots everyday from 9am-6pm to have a Guide "Unassigned" label on the congratulations page before actually assigning a guide.
Does that make sense? Is there a better way to do this? Or does this not make sense at all?
Hello Gerhard,
Thank you for reaching out to us.
Yes, that makes sense. Service work hours depend on employee work hours so you need to assign one. You can create a fake employee and call him whatever you want and also you can hide the employee's choice on the booking form. Then you can internally assign employees to the appointment.
You can hide the employee choice in customize section like this
Hope this helps.
Kind Regards,
