Yes, this issue is a bit strange, how it happens on this installation on your site;
I wish i could tell you exactly what happened, but sadly with this kind of intermittent issue ( for example when something is not working in one moment, then the next one it works),
it is difficult to determine what causes it;
and the updating of plugins in general is an issue that comes from WordPress configuration,
not from our plugin itself.
In either case, i am happy to see that this time it worked as expected, we hope that it will stay like that going forward, but let us know if you encounter any issue like that again.
Update of Master Details Table Plugin fails with error "No plugin specified". Please check the screenshot.

I don't know why but this time I tried to update the plugin from the top bar and not from the plugin page and the update went as expected.
