We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!

We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.

You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.

While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.

We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.

Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!

    Hello,

I am trying to figure out if we can have customers opt-in/out of SMS notifications based on their contact method preference? I checked the support site for SMS notifications, however I do not see these details.

Essentially, I have email notifications going out as a default communication method. In my booking form, I have a customized field for 'Preferred Contact Method'. Ideally, I could apply some conditional logic here so that the customer preference is applied to their profile. However, as I do not believe that functionality is available - I would like to be able to enable/disable SMS notifications for customers (manually if needed) as appropriate.

Can you please advise on if there are any steps to do this? This is important from a legal perspective, and overall best practices (users must be aware and agree to sms data rates/fees, etc.)

    Thanks,

    Hello Jon,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

Unfortunately, currently, this feature is not built-in in Amelia. There is no conditional logic for choosing SMS or mail. If you enable both then both will be sent.

Of course, you can turn notifications that you do not wart easily in the notifications section just by un-ticking it like this

I'll kindly ask you to add it as a feature suggestion on this link https://features.wpamelia.com/

Features are pushed up on our "to-do" list when there are a lot of customers requesting those features, so having your vote as a customer can be beneficial to this feature being developed sooner.

If you have any more questions please open a new separate ticket for each question and we will gladly help you there.

We wish you all the best.

    Have a nice day.

    Kind Regards,

    Marko Davidovic [email protected]
