What happens is that I give my clients access to manage amelia with only what they are going to use from the Amelia panel.
To do this, what I do is edit the "Amelia Manager" role with the "User Role Editor" plugin, and I restrict all the capabilities except for those that I have indicated in the image that I attached to the ticket.
The problem I have is that when Amelia is updated, the user has lost all the modifications that I have made in the "Amelia Manager" role, and they have all of them again.
Could you please tell me how I can fix this?
One option could be that instead of updating the "Amelia Manager" Role, create a custom one with the "User Role Editor" plugin?
In the end, what I want is that even if Amelia is updated, the role that I give to the user that my client is going to use is permanent.
Unfortunately, this is not possible and there is nothing to be "fixed" since everything is fine with Amelia. Amelia does not have official integration with User Role Editor" plugin so any changes that you make are custom and they get overridden as soon as you update the plugin. We can not influence that at this time since we not have integration with User Role Editor.
You can leave a suggestion for integration but we can not make any promises.
Features are pushed up on our "to-do" list when there are a lot of customers requesting those features, so having your vote as a customer can be beneficial to this feature being developed sooner.
