First of all, thank you for creating this feature-rich booking system. However, while running some tests, I have encountered a few problems for which I can not yet find a solution.
1. For Appointment booking, I set "email" and "phone" as mandatory fields, but this setting only reflects on Booking View & Catalog View. On the Step-by-step booking form & Catalog booking form, email and phone are not mandatory for making an appointment.
2. The max capacity of each appointment is set to be 3 people. When I tested the system on the first day, I could make 3 separate appointments of 1 person each before the slot was closed. The next day, after I added more employees and services, the slots would close after 1 appointment was made and the max capacity was NOT yet reached. The customer could not choose that slot even if it was NOT FULL. Only the employee could manually add attendees from the portal.
3. The Catalog booking form & Step-by-step booking form both have trouble loading service calendar after 1 appointment is made. (check the attached photo) Imaging I was the customer, and I booked 1 service, paid for it, and still wanted to browse for more options...and the calendar would not load. Really not cool.
4. The Finance system has the biggest problem. When there is a group appointment, if I change 1 customer's paying status, the other customer's status gets affected. Let's say, Customer A booked a service for both A & B. Both of them paid on-site. Customer A paid partially, and Customer B paid in full price. When I clicked " paid" for Customer B, Customer A became "paid". When I changed Customer A's status back to "partially paid", Customer A remained "paid", while Customer B became "partially paid".
5. Not all the answers of CUSTOM FIELD are shown on the attendee's info. I added a few more fields on the booking form, and it all looked great on the front-end booking form. But when checking the attendee's info on Employee Panel and on the back-end system, only some info is shown there. The rests are ....no where to be found.
6. Final question: Is there a way to add all the appointments and events into the company's calendar? Now when a booking is made, the booking will be added to the employee's calendar. Is it possible to make the booking added both into the company and the employee's calendar?
I really would like to keep using Amelia, so please help me fix the problem! Thank you
When you have several questions or issues, please open a new ticket, and we will help you there. In that way, issues and questions which are related to different subjects will be in separate tickets so other customers or our support agents can find them easily.
Our policy is to have one issue or question per ticket because of the reasons that are described already.
Thank you for understanding.
1. For Appointment booking, I set "email" and "phone" as mandatory fields, but this setting only reflects on Booking View & Catalog View. On the Step-by-step booking form & Catalog booking form, email and phone are not mandatory for making an appointment. - You need to set this in customise section also to be mandatory
Only the employee could manually add attendees from the portal - When you offer group classes you need to enable the option "Allow booking below minimum capacity" in Amelia/settings/appointment settings. When this is enabled, multiple customers will be able to book the same time slot, without having to fill in the minimum capacity.
3. The Catalog booking form & Step-by-step booking form both have trouble loading service calendar after 1 appointment is made. (check the attached photo) Imaging I was the customer, and I booked 1 service, paid for it, and still wanted to browse for more options...and the calendar would not load. Really not cool. - We do not have such issue and also we can not replicate them on any other site or device. You can send us a couple of 100% free coupons so that we can test this out.
In order for the ticket not to be too crowded, I will send you the answer in 2 parts, because you have plenty of questions on one ticket.
Also, please when you have several questions or issues, please open a new ticket, and we will help you there. In that way, issues and questions which are related to different subjects will be in separate tickets so other customers or our support agents can find them easily.

When I changed Customer A's status back to "partially paid", Customer A remained "paid", while Customer B became "partially paid". - You can change the status for each customer individually and also you can change the status for complete appointment
But if one customer paid for several customers this is all tied to one payment and if you change the status of that payment it will change the status for all customers that are tied to that payment since this is one payment in that case.
5. Not all the answers of CUSTOM FIELD are shown on the attendee's info. I added a few more fields on the booking form, and it all looked great on the front-end booking form. The rests are .... nowhere to be found. - If the custom fields are the mandatory customer will need to fill them out and this data will show. If they are not they can be skipped and the data won't show since they did not fill it out.
Also, you need to check if these custom fields are added to those services
6. Final question: Is there a way to add all the appointments and events into the company's calendar? Now when a booking is made, the booking will be added to the employee's calendar. Is it possible to make the booking added both into the company and the employee's calendar? - Unfortunately, currently, this feature is not built-in in Amelia.
Features are pushed up on our "to-do" list when there are a lot of customers requesting those features, so having your vote as a customer can be beneficial to this feature being developed sooner.
If you have any more questions please open a new separate ticket for each question and we will gladly help you there. Our policy is to have one issue or question per ticket.
